Special Education
The Small Wonder Puppet Theatre is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Over the past several years we have begun to entertain and interact with special needs audiences. Our unique blend of puppetry and music has brought joy and light into the lives of autistic, down-syndrome and other challenged children. We have displayed an uncanny ability to educate and hold the attention of our special audiences.
“Thank you for your amazing performance. Because of your show, 40 special children had the fortune of having one day being brighter and happier. The glow on the children’s faces that day said it all.”
-Door of Hope, Family and Children services
"Your wonderful puppet presentation won the admiration of the Day Habilitation participants and staff. Everyone truly had a wonderful time. I would recommend this wonderful puppet theater to all educators and parents from coast to coast".
-Hebrew Academy for Special Children - HASC
"Thank you so much for coming to our school to entertain our children. They enjoyed your puppet show so much. As our students are children with physical and cognitive delays, it is often difficult to find activities that are both educational and entertaining for them. Your puppets were beautiful, exciting and intriguing to our students and captivated their interest for an extended period of time. The content of the show, the language used and the lovely puppets contributed to an experience that our children will remember for a long time. We hope you can come back again.

At the Yaldeinu School, we are dedicated to enhancing our children’s growth and development in every way. The Special Children at Yaldeinu are challenged with Autism Spectrum Disorders and related disabilities that challenge them in the area of social skills and communication. Every positive educational experience is a springboard for their continued development. On Wednesday, January 12th 2011, Small Wonder Puppets came to entertain our children. This was a fun-filled, enriching learning experience. It was heartwarming to watch the children laugh and enjoy themselves in such an appropriate carefree manner. Our children look forward to this show each year.
